A Ground Source Heat pump is a very efficient system where a relatively small amount of energy is taken from the ground and increased by a factor of three or four. This energy can then meet some or all of the energy requirements for a building's heating or cooling system. Since ground temperatures remain at a constant temperature of around 12ēC throughout the year, ground source technology is an ideal way to utilise renewable energy sources.
As part of an integrated solution, Colt can juxtapose geothermal technology with its WRF water sourced heat pump system, providing a highly energy efficient solution for a building. Colt offer full system design, bore-hole testing, manufacture, supply and installation with complete project management support overseeing the whole project from initial drilling to final commissioning.
